Author's note: here's another chapter and the first real boss fight in resident evil: Biohazard.
Pffft. Pffft. pffft.
" and another three down," I say as I hit several regular molded with bolts from the crossbow. I look at the smoldering corpses and shake my head as I look back over the information on the crossbow.

This thing is a beast, heavy and cumbersome sometimes but it packs a punch so that evens things out. I sigh and look around the room I just cleared and find some more herbs (3) before I open a door into another room. I cough as I smell and I look at the room. The generator room, I believe it was called in the games, is filled with mold and more molded. Usually three in the game in this room but here there's more. 'Of course what would I have expected,' I think as I put away the crossbow and just use the seraph blade on the molded. Slicing through their necks or anywhere on thier body felt like hitting a cinderblock as it takes at least three strikes each to finally kill the things.
Getting to the next room I stop and crouches down to grab the final dog head when jack baker grabs it. His body repairs itself infront of me as he monologs about finding me and all that stuff before disappearing into the next room. I sigh remembering this particular fight being difficult, yeah yeah skill issue, but what I've already went through means this will be worse. Grabbing the shotgun ammunition and the herb i go on into the boss room. It's larger than the game meaning more space to run around but I can also see several pillars of mold in the open space. Going around the room I find the dog's head attached to a chain by barbwire. Reaching for the dog's head i grab it and I'm immediately grabbed and thrown by jack baker to the arena. Landing harshly on the floor I'm start to hear cracking and then jack baker jumps down and lands on top of me and the floor somehow buckles and we fall through hitting atleast four other floors before I land in a pit filled with bones and holes.
" like my house city boy, ever since my favorite daughter came to us we've been given so many gifts," says jack punching my face," a gift so graciously given to you but something went wrong. You changed it."
He keeps punching my face as i try to block the blows or twist to mitigate the damage before grabbing a large bone and slamming it into him. As he's knocked off me i grab the bone and start slamming into him as his body splits open and reveals the mold inside.
" yeah fuck your gift," I say jamming the bone into the mold causing him to shout in pain before he jumps up climbing the wall to the next floor.
" poor words city boy," he shouts and I hear a loud echoing snap and several molded fall into the pit. Jack looks on as the molded rise up and I try to grab my weapon but I don't feel it on me.
" yoohoo city boy, looking for these," taunts jack baker as he holds up the seraph blade and my bag containing my weapons. " gotta climb and get them," says jack as he moves away from the edge of the hole. Grabbing another bone i start taking down the regular molded that keep dropping from the hole in the floor, or would it be ceiling now. Four bones, and about fifteen molded later I find a way up and I take it. Reaching the second floor up i find the lemi sitting down on the floor and I'm grab it quickly.
Checking the clip and slide it appears to be in working condition and I hear something large drop behind me. Looking back i see this large molded sack start de-forming before bursting apart revealing a large dog like molded. It growls at me and it's back starts bubbling and two extra heads come out effectively making him a cerebus. I start firing at him and apparently he counts as a lycanthrope as the lemi barks with blue fire on each shot. Unloading an entire clip into the beast effectively killing two of the three heads. Reloading i dodge the head and claws as it tries to attack me. The beast is close to the hole and I start firing into the beast pushing it back making it stumble and it falls into the hole to the floor below.
Climbing up to the third floor i meet several molded and the shotgun i took from the statue. Grabbing it i open fire blowing the heads off of the molded as they disentigrate and I climb up to the last floor. But I'm immediately grabbed and thrown back down into the floor, thankfully it somehow holds up, and I dodge a set of feet that slams down where I was.
Looking at the amalgamation of multiple bodies that I just killed being put back together by some red glowing mold. A giant that has eight arms and legs shuttles around and climbs the wall to hang upside down from the ceiling. It's center mass opens up revealing a giant mouth filled with bones like teeth and a set of eight eyes on the side of its mouth. It roars as the mouth closes and it rips some of the mold, that has rapidly grown covering the walls,and lobs it at me. I dodge out of the way as the mold glows red and explodes sending spear like mold outwards. I get struck in my gut and launched towards the wall as the beast drops down. I get up shakily and I fire a set of rounds at the beast destroying two of its legs before it jumps back up onto the ceiling. It grabs another thing of mold but i fire the lemi into the ball destroying it and causing the beast to fall and roar exposing its eyes. I load two shotgun shells before I fire destroying one of its eight eyes. It start sumersaulting towards me and I dodge as it slams the remaining legs at my spot.
It gets up and starts climbing the wall again but I fire the lemi into its back around its joints, but it does nothing as I reload once again. It gets up near the hole and is about to pounce on me but the crack of a shotgun sounds off and it falls down to my level. It roars in anger and I fire all four shots into two of its eyes destroying them leaving it with five eyes.
" God damn as ugly as a armadillo," says Joe baker as he racks another shell into his shotgun," looks like you need help again."
I give him a thumbs up and pour some first aid meds on my wound sealing it. The beast roars and I fire the lemi destroying two more eyes before I dodge a strike. Rolling out of the way it feels the lantern that was still hanging from my belt catch on a nail turning it on with the burner fuel glowing brightly. I look at the lantern and unhook it as the beast roars at Joe who fires the shotgun at it. I chuck the lantern into its mouth and it catches on a tooth and I fire a shotgun shells blowing it open igniting the burner fuel and creating a small ball of flame destroying the rest of its eyes and killing it. As it disentigrates i find my crossbow and a slip of paper inside the creatures remains. Joe slips down a rope to me which i climb up and reach the floor. He helps me up and I nod at him before I hear something and tackle him away as a giant grate slams down over the hole. " well well city boy looks like you got some guts and luck but it ends here" says jack baker as he drops down with his giant scissor chainsaw. Joe grabs his shotgun and shoots jack in the gut causing him to stumble and it reload my weapons before I see tge seraph blade on the ground. Jack baker growls at us and tries to saw me with the tool but I shove a hanging body into him. He stumbles as I hear the roar of another chainsaw and Joe jams it into his brother's back. Jack screams as I grab the seraph blade and slice Jack's face open and his body expands showing the mold. Joe slams the chainsaw into the mold but it overheats and he has to restart it. Jack stands back up and tries to swing the chainsaw at Joe but I stab him again with the seraph blade drawing his attention.
" ahh that fucking hurts," he screams as I dodge the chainsaw again and kick another body into him stunning him before I fire the shotgun twice into him. He goes to his knees as the mold expands and Joe starts slicing him with the chainsaw. The mold closes around the chainsaw and jack screams as he continously gets cut by the blade.
Joe jerks the blade out and I shoot jack in the head blowing half it off and it causes the mold to rapidly expand. He backs up screaming, as he gets close to the grate it explodes upwards as the cerebus who was still alive lunges out clamping jack in its jaws. Jack screams and explodes taking the cerebus head with him as they both fall down into the hole before the mold pillars collapse sealing it up.
" fuck what ever happen to you jack," says Joe as he sighs and uses the chainsaw to cut the bar sealing the room. It cuts through but destroys the blade as i grab the dog's head and we leave the basement. Trekking back through the house and completing the door puzzle we both leave the house and we stumble into the trailer in the lawn. Shocking Zoe and Mia who were asleep on the bed. Zoe grabs a canister of mace and gets me in the face causing me to recoil in pain and fall back out of the trailer.
" Zoe good job protecting yourself but you hot the wrong person," says Joe and she rushes to him hugging him. I grab at my face as Mia gets a jug of milk to pour on my face but it comes out in chunks clearly spoilt.
'Why me' I think as I just lay there in pain and gagging at the smell.
" hehe oops" says Mia as she tries not to laugh.
