The inside of Sora's car was dead silent except for the soft humming of the engine and the occasional sound of Yejin cursing under her breath whenever another car slowed them down.
"I swear, if any of you try driving while sleep-deprived again, I'll knock you unconscious myself," Yejin muttered while gripping the steering wheel tightly.
No one argued.
Because honestly?
She looked serious enough to do it.
Jiho sat beside her in the passenger seat while Sora, Yeongjae, and Hanna occupied the backseat.
Sora held the faded photograph carefully on her lap.
Her thumb brushed lightly over the image of little Logan being carried by his smiling mother.
Behind them stood the old house.
And beside it—
The young maple tree.
Back then, it looked small.
Harmless.
Now, after all these years…
It had become something haunting.
Yeongjae leaned slightly closer to look at the picture again.
"I hope it is still the same house," he murmured quietly.
