A small cute looking creature with white fur that evasively described himself as something between "dog/mouse/bear" has been sitting behind the desk, while typing something on his laptop and leisurely sipping a cup of luxurious tea in an U.A principal's office.
Coincidentally, that creature was the school principal in question.
Nezu. An extremely rare example of an animal with a quirk.
And a very impressive quirk at that.
[High Specs].
It boosted his intellect to a genius level degree with no obvious detriments to that whatsoever.
He has used that to amass wealth which in turn he used to start the most successful hero courses in the country.
U.A. had other courses, but hero ones were its cream of the crop.
And the being responsible for it was now happily humming and swinging his stubby, short legs enjoying the good reports on this year students progress.
He had an especially keen interest towards three rising potential "eggs" as he often called the students.
It being in the middle of second trimester spoke good as they had still a lot of time before they graduated into the second year.
Overall, Nezu enjoyed a quite good time.
But then something happened.
He blinked and when he opened his tiny black button-like eyes something on his desk changed.
On the previously pristine and empty surface there was now a letter.
Just a split of a second ago it wasn't there.
Nezu instantly pressed a button responsible for running an emergency security sweep of all surrounding areas…
The machines instantly surged into action.
But after a few seconds of technologically advanced scanning nothing came up.
Nezu sighed.
'I will have to go and increase security methods again.'
At least the scans managed to figure out that there was no immediate danger in that letter.
No explosives, radiation, dangerous chemicals or biological weapons and so on hidden on its surface or within the envelope.
It was suspicious, but Nezu guessed from the data he collected that it was probably not malicious in intent.
He still wore a glove before reaching for the letter.
There were a few printed words on it:
To: Principal Nezu.
From: Your little Guardian Angel.
Nezu furrowed his animal brows, but held out on any judgement until he got more information.
He definitely planned to investigate the anomaly.
He raised the letter alongside the one and only item that was placed on top of it.
It was a single pure-white plume from a small bird.

[Back at Musutafu middle school]
'Damn, that was stressful.' Laito thought after dismissing Steve the instant he completed his one way infiltration mission.
'I hope it's gonna be worth it. It's not easy to plan a break-in as a pigeon!...'
A dove…
'...Printers in random libraries are not designed to be used by birds, that's for sure. Shame that from now on I won't be coming into any contact with Steve. At least in this world he will probably get a target on his back. He will be his own "person" for now. I think it's useful to keep an alternative backup persona in case of an emergency anyways.'
Laito's thoughts went back to his plan of informing the one being who was both: influential enough to actually make something happen and smart enough to not do something rash.
Next, Laito sent Steve with a very similarly designed letter to deliver to All-Might.
As a hero All-Might was insanely busy and having a one-on-one conversation(with some very rare exceptions) was borderline impossible.
But it wasn't even that hard to get into contact with him as long as one knew about his "deflated" form, Toshinori Yagi could be found easily outside of his "hero time".
Laito was quite worried that any information about All-for-One still being alive would work on All-Might like a red cape for a bull.
But All-Might was a professional… the best one actually, so Laito hoped that he would keep his cool even in subjects so personal to him.
'Anyways, the letters are vague enough so I may keep my options open.'
Laito didn't expect his revelations to cause major changes.
If it was the Laito from before his Nightmare, he would unequivocally spill the beans on all the future events so that the heroes could work towards saving as many lives as possible.
Now… Laito told himself he had to think bigger… he had to plan for the future, he thought.
After all, if one day he would become a Sovereign, he would need a Domain for himself right?
And what better Domain could he think of than a world filled with technologically advanced society of billions of super-humans?
And a society that experienced hardship and maybe even conflict would make part of a much stronger Domain than a peaceful, yet mostly complacent one.
Of course, what Laito only partially realized is that this train of thought…
Was basically his Flaw speaking.
At a certain point, for a moment, when he lost his focus, Laito paused thinking of all these humans as… well… humans, but as resources he could use for the future.
'I need you all to grow strong… After all, nobody can know if, or when this world is going to be hit with a full blown descent of a Nightmare Spell… even though I lived and didn't turn into the first Nightmare Gate… I still am a carrier of the Spell itself.' Laito considered his motivation on what to do forward.
'It already has a foothold in here, so it's most likely only a question of time for someone else to get infected… We will see… But it would be such a waste to let this beautiful world fall into ruin. I like it here quite a bit.'
'That's why it sucks so bad that I will have to leave in just a few months.' Laito reminded himself.
"
After all right now the best things he could do to get stronger was to continue research on his Tomes of Magic he owned.
Which, at the moment, was three whole Tomes.
