After the meal, Xu Shengxia didn't linger downstairs. She was ready to go upstairs and rest.
She instructed Ke Qingtong,
"In a bit, go check out the guest rooms upstairs and pick one you like. I don't have any other plans for you today, so you're free to do as you please. If you get bored, you can take my car out for a drive, or you can kill time in the basement gym or at the rooftop pool."
"Alright, President Xu." Ke Qingtong replied, sitting bolt upright.
Xu Shengxia nodded and pointed toward the staircase.
"I'm going upstairs to rest then."
Ke Qingtong immediately stood up.
"Yes, go on ahead. I'll see you off."
His words made Xu Shengxia laugh.
"No need to see me off. Just sit and finish your meal. Clean up after yourself when you're done."
With that, Xu Shengxia paid him no more mind, effortlessly picking up her suitcase and heading upstairs on her own.
