When Luna Nash walked into the office, she clearly saw Jane Sterling and was just as shocked.
But on the surface, she pretended not to notice.
"Thank you, Director. I'll treat this place like my own home and get familiar with the work environment as quickly as possible!"
The Director was very pleased with Luna Nash's astute response.
"Alright, you may go. Work hard."
There weren't many dorm rooms at the orphanage to begin with. The one Jane Sterling was staying in was already a clean room that had been temporarily cleared out for her.
Sure enough, after Leo gave Luna Nash a tour, she was assigned to Jane Sterling's dorm room.
Back in the dorm, the moment the door closed, Jane Sterling seemed like a completely different person. She gripped Luna Nash's hand tightly.
"Luna, you're not even fully recovered yet. Why on earth did you come to this godforsaken place?"
Luna Nash also had a million things she wanted to tell Jane Sterling.
