Aaron Xavier tried to find an ally, and his gaze immediately landed on Nathan Lockwood beside him.
Everyone had been running, yet Nathan Lockwood looked completely unaffected. With only a light sheen of sweat on his forehead, he appeared dignified and composed.
If not for the extra towel the instructor had given him, you would never be able to tell he had just been exercising.
Nathan Lockwood's gaze fell on the space behind Chase Shaw and Zoe Pierce. "If you're that unhappy about it, you can go after them."
Aaron Xavier rolled his eyes at him. "And do what? That's no fun."
Although he was extremely curious, it was obvious they hadn't invited him, and he wasn't about to go where he wasn't wanted.
As for Nathan Lockwood, however... Aaron Xavier shot him a sideways glance, a smile playing on his lips. "Nathan, you're the one who wants to follow them, aren't you?"
He received no reply. Nathan Lockwood just shot him a cool glance. "I'm heading back."
