"Jinhua, are you off to bring food to your older brother again?" He Xiulin called out, seeing the lunchbox in Gu Jinhua's hand.
"Xiulin, I'm really in a hurry. We can talk later." Gu Jinhua had no time to spare. She grabbed a steamed bun to chew on with one hand, held the lunchbox in the other, and was about to rush off.
"Do you know what everyone's been saying these past few days?" He Xiulin said, hurrying after her when she saw Gu Jinhua was actually leaving.
"What are they saying?"
Gu Jinhua didn't slow down, so He Xiulin had to walk alongside her. "It's all bad things about your older brother. The tide of public opinion has completely turned."
"How is that possible?" Gu Jinhua stopped in her tracks.
"Why wouldn't it be?"
