Listening to the sound of water from the bathroom, Shen Nian finally felt like this place was truly her home.
Although Shen Nian had already eaten, she figured that since Lu Cheng had rushed over to see her as soon as he got back, he probably hadn't had dinner yet.
It wasn't a good time to go out to eat. And while she hadn't cooked here before, thankfully, she had stocked the kitchen fairly well.
She couldn't make a full meal without meat and vegetables, but she could at least make Lu Cheng a bowl of noodles.
So when Lu Cheng came out of the bathroom after his shower, the first thing he saw was Shen Nian walking out of the kitchen with a freshly made bowl of noodles.
Shen Nian saw him too. After setting the bowl on the table, she went over and pulled him down into a chair.
"You haven't eaten, have you? I haven't gone grocery shopping yet, so I could only make you a bowl of noodles. It'll tide you over for now."
