It wasn't just Miao Cuifen who was delighted by Lu Cheng's offer to stay the night. The rest of the Shen family was overjoyed as well, growing even more fond of their considerate son-in-law.

"Is it okay for us not to go back today? We haven't told your parents!"

"It's fine. I told Mom and Dad last night that we wouldn't be coming back today. They both agreed."
