Since Lu Xinyue had asked to come along, Shen Nian naturally wouldn't refuse. Besides, she wasn't doing anything today that needed to be kept secret.
The two sisters-in-law quickly left the house and went to the post office to mail the package. She figured Lu Cheng would receive it in a few days.
'I wonder if Lu Cheng will be done with his work by then.'

On the way to the school, Lu Xinyue glanced at Shen Nian and struck up a casual conversation.
Lu Xinyue knew Shen Nian had just graduated from high school, but she didn't know much about her academic performance. And she certainly wasn't sure how confident Shen Nian was in her ability to get into college.
"Next? I want to go to college!"
"College! But…"
Hearing the word "college," Lu Xinyue's eyes lit up, clearly showing her own anticipation for it. But after that initial excitement, her tone dropped.
