Little Tang Mo looked at Brother Glasses, nodded, and smiled.
"I'm fine. We're fine. Thank you, Brother."
Seeing Little Tang Mo's smiling face, Brother Glasses breathed a sigh of relief. He helped Little Tang Mo, Little Tongtong, and Little Yang Mei to their feet and checked them over one by one.
"You're not hurt anywhere, are you?"
He examined them carefully, not minding the dirt or the smell clinging to them.
Little Tang Mo shook his head and then asked Little Tongtong and Little Yang Mei.
Once he confirmed none of them were injured, Brother Glasses, who had just helped them up, promptly collapsed onto the ground himself.
"As long as you're okay, that's all that matters."
He clutched his chest, feeling his heart still pounding. "That's the most terrifying thing I've ever done in my life."
Little Tang Mo gave an embarrassed smile.
"I'm just glad it worked out. I would have blamed myself forever otherwise."
