Where did that light come from?
It came from a distant land beyond space itself.
Murphy advanced toward the light, moving upward.
There were no longer any fellow travelers on the Kronos Plane, but he did not stop. He walked out of the Kronos Plane and into the World Sea.
In an endless void, countless planes floated like bubbles. Some flickered in and out of existence, some shone with a constant light, some were collapsing, and some had just been born.
And that pure white light shone from the deepest, most distant part of the World Sea, penetrating all barriers of Law and matter, splitting into countless branches to connect all worlds.
Murphy followed the light forward. He walked out of the branch of light that reached the Kronos Plane and saw other living beings.
They came from different planes, following the light belonging to their own plane, and converged together.
