Andrea Hayes was dazed for a long time. It wasn't until someone getting off the subway accidentally bumped into her that she snapped back to reality and quickly looked up.
Sure enough, she had missed her subway stop.
Andrea Hayes hurried out of the car and ran to the opposite platform to wait for another train.
The next train was two minutes away.
Andrea Hayes clutched her phone tightly.
After the train arrived, she didn't look at her phone at all, focusing intently on the service information screen, afraid she would miss her stop again.
After getting off the subway, Andrea Hayes walked home with hurried steps.
When she got home and opened the door, her little cat was already waiting for her, its fluffy little head rubbing affectionately against her calf. "Meow~"
"I'm home," Andrea Hayes responded. She put down her bag and phone, went to the bathroom to wash her hands, then scooped the little cat into her arms for a cuddle. "Are you hungry?"
"Meow~"
"You are, huh?"
