"In the interrogation room?" Eric Ford turned to him in surprise. "What do you mean?"
Nathan White replied, "Wallace Summers's son injured his classmate's eye. The kid's parents called the police."
"Oh, I see." Eric Ford nodded in understanding. "Well, that saves us some trouble. Which interrogation room is he in?"
Nathan White said, "Number Three. First, take me to Consultant Jennings. They're in the middle of a conversation."
"All right." Eric Ford led Nathan White into the conference room to greet Renee Jennings and mentioned that Wallace Summers was already at the station.
"Do you know what's going on with them? Are you at liberty to say?" Sheryl Sawyer asked.
It wasn't classified, so Nathan White told them what he knew.
"Cameron Summers's classmate got his eye pierced by an iron pipe. The kid's in surgery now. Cameron claims they were just fooling around, but the other kid's parents insist Cameron did it on purpose."
