After hearing Sunshine's explanation, Renee Jennings turned to the tabby cat. "Toto, is that what you heard?"
"Meow! That's right, that's exactly it!" Toto immediately replied.
A hint of amusement touched Renee Jennings's face. "Toto, can I explain something to you?"
"Meow? Explain what?" Toto was confused.
Renee Jennings said gently, "Your owner has no intention of stewing and eating you. She was just watching a video criticizing bad people who eat cats."
"Meow? Really?" Toto cautiously poked his little head out from behind the floor vase.
Once Sunshine understood, she looked at the tabby cat, not knowing whether to laugh or cry. "Toto, how could you think we're so horrible?"
"Meow meow meow! It's not that I think you're horrible, it's that I heard with my own two ears that you were going to stew a cat and a Snake together in a pot to make a tasty meal!" Toto retorted.
Renee Jennings laughed and translated Toto's words.
