「5:00 PM.」
Xu Yun, Xino, Fu Baoying, and Lin Wanzhou, a group of four, rode together in one car to the hotel where Zhang Jin and his wife were hosting the birthday party.
Originally, Zhang Jin and his wife had only planned for a simple, lively family gathering.
But starting yesterday, he began receiving calls, and the guest list inexplicably swelled.
First, Xu Yun and Lin Wanzhou confirmed they were coming, though he didn't know how many people they'd be bringing.
Next, Ruan Qingnian's family also said they were coming.
He could understand Ruan Shaolai attending, since Xu Yun would be there.
But his father, Ruan Guohua, was also coming? That didn't make sense. The man was the second-largest shareholder of Huayi. Why would he deign to attend a birthday celebration for Zhang Jin's mother?
On Hong Kong Island, their apartment was only a little over 100 square meters. They couldn't afford a nice villa.
