In the Fire Realm, all sorts of bizarre Demons appeared from time to time, much like the various Ice-type Demons that emerged in the Ice Realm.
Some Demons were enormous, like small mountains, emanating powerful auras. Others were agile and incredibly fast, making them difficult to track. And still others were formless, appearing and disappearing at will in an eerie fashion.
Cheng Zongyang knew his goal wasn't to fight these Demons, but to reach his destination as quickly as possible.
Therefore, whenever he encountered a Demon, he would speed up and steer clear, trying his best not to attract its attention. Thanks to his robes, he traveled without being discovered or pestered by the native creatures. He wasn't even attacked when he came face-to-face with them.
As time passed, Cheng Zongyang flew through the Fire Realm for several days and nights.
