He scanned the calm surface of the sea, gritted his teeth, and made his decision. With a sharp tap of his toes on the ship, he launched himself into the air, soaring swiftly toward the island, which had already shrunk to a nearly invisible speck on the horizon.
Although he was an Innate Expert, he couldn't use his Body Technique to stay airborne for long. He had to drop to the sea's surface from time to time, using the water's slight resistance to push off and execute his Body Technique again.
