Sun Miaoshan threw his head back and spat a mouthful of blood, his complexion instantly withering. Forcing himself to stay conscious, he chanted a mantra and charged at the Power Demon King, only to be swatted away just as quickly. He crashed heavily into the Five-Colored Mountain.
However, the Five-Colored Mountain uprooted itself and soared into the sky. Wang Yi had commandeered it to suppress his enemies.
Losing his physical support, Miaoshan slowly collapsed to the ground. He gasped for air, his heart burning with intense unwillingness. He was Patriarch Miaoshan. He had once attained Buddhahood, comprehended the Dao, and established his own dojo. Now, he was being thoroughly pummeled by a hulking brute.
He had no choice. His resurrection had been too recent, and his level was still under 300. With many of his abilities sealed, he was absolutely no match for the Level 599 Power Demon King in a head-on clash.
