The Perception Crystal Ball of the White Bone Throne flickered violently. Its light and shadows resembled a shredded vortex as dense red signals multiplied madly deep within the sphere.
The Witch Demon Apprentice's voice abruptly changed pitch.
"Large signals—a massive number of large signals!
"Ten spatial fluctuation sources—massive spatial tears are appearing around the enemy ship—
"Quantities... quantities are being calculated..."
The Skeleton Duke's withered claws, which had been frozen mid-air, slowly curled inward. The two clumps of ghostly green Soul Fire in his eyes were dead set on the Crystal Ball.
"It exceeds the single-array counting limit..." The Witch Demon Apprentice spoke faster and faster, no longer able to suppress his panic. "Switching to the joint fleet perception."
Seven warship perception nodes connected simultaneously, finally bringing the light and shadows at the center of the sphere into focus. "...Over twelve thousand."
