Whether it was the hikers on the cliff or the five Daoists on a neighboring peak, everyone paled in horror as they watched the person plunge down.
"Xu Yuexin!" a man not far in front of her cried out in alarm.
"AHHH!" The woman let out a bloodcurdling scream as her whole body tumbled down the cliff face. Her arms flailed wildly, trying to grab onto something, but the cliff was completely bare.
The treeline was still far below, and the woman's descent was accelerating. It looked like she was about to tumble off the precipice and be smashed to pieces.
But just then, a cluster of White Clouds leisurely gathered not far beneath her, coalescing into a solid form just as she landed on it.
And then...
The woman landed on that cluster of clouds!
That cluster of clouds had actually caught the falling woman!
The woman's screams continued, but the shocked gasps from her four fellow hikers died in their throats.
"AHHHH… AHH… AH… Huh?"
