At present, Fang Qingyuan still didn't know that Purple Crystal Spirit Fish had a special evolutionary effect on Water Beasts. These fish were, after all, incredibly rare. If a Cultivator managed to obtain one, they would be reluctant to even eat it themselves—why would they ever think of feeding it to their Spirit Beast?
Moreover, a small number of Spirit Fish wouldn't have a noticeable evolutionary effect on a Water Beast. Only a massive quantity of them could awaken the deepest, hidden layer of its bloodline.
As for Nanli, Fang Qingyuan didn't hold out much hope. After all, Nanli was a fire-attribute beast whose upper limit was only the Golden Core realm. Plus, she had eaten the least, so the probability of her successfully advancing to Golden Core was slim.
But it didn't matter. Fang Qingyuan had never had high expectations for Nanli. For a War Beast, Jinbao was all he needed.
