The two monster lairs weren't marked as "Invincible" or "Unattackable." However, Shen Fei didn't rush to destroy them. Through the Detection Tower, he had discovered that this monster-occupied city was surprisingly missing a Heart of the City. He decided to leave the lairs for now and see how things played out.
Setting aside the matter of the monster lairs, Shen Fei turned his gaze to the two bosses. "Speak. Can you understand me?"
"Are you putting on an act for me?" Shen Fei asked. He saw shock flash in the bosses' eyes, but they didn't answer his question.

Previously, Mind Control had been ineffective against NPCs and Super Bosses in special zones. Now, he wanted to see if it would work on these intelligent beings that had evolved from bosses. If not, he would just kill them.
