Lin Ye instantly realized that something was very wrong.
Without another moment of hesitation, his form flickered and he vanished from the throne.
The next moment, he appeared on the platform outside the Sun Palace.
Lin Ye turned his gaze toward the entrance of the Dragon's Nest.
He saw that the area had, at some point, been completely shrouded in a darkness as deep as spilled ink.
It was no ordinary darkness.
It was a "void" that devoured light, space, and even concepts themselves.
Any member of the Dragon Race who neared that region, whether flying through the air or running on the ground, would be erased. If they were so much as grazed by the edge of the darkness, they would vanish without a sound, like a pencil sketch rubbed away by an eraser, leaving not a single trace behind.
Lin Ye's eyes transformed into those of a dragon.
His gaze pierced through the layers of darkness, finally settling on the center of the void.
There stood the only remaining figure.
