A claw mark ran across one of his eyes, so deep the bone was visible, adding a murderous glint to his already fierce expression.
Regner Claudius, Grand Marshal of the Dragon's Nest.
And in a seat to Regner's other side sat a female of the Dragon Race. She was covered head to toe in moon-white Scale Armor, her frame seeming almost petite in comparison, and she was elegantly sipping from her cup.
Her draconic eyes were a rare shade of purple, as deep as a starry sky and seemingly capable of seeing through anything.
Liliana Aurelian, Chancellor of the Dragon's Nest.
Yet the main seat at the very center remained empty.
At that moment, a flicker of impatience crossed Regner's one good eye. He slammed his claw down on the table.
BANG!
The thunderous sound echoed, and the entire grand hall fell silent in an instant.
"Where's that piece of trash from the Caesar Family?" Regner roared, his voice coarse. "The banquet started ages ago, and he's still not here?"
