After leaving the administration building, Lin Ye didn't head straight home. Instead, he made his way to the school's logistics department.
A middle-aged teacher sat at the resource distribution window, looking thoroughly bored.
When he saw Lin Ye approach, he didn't even bother to lift his gaze, just asked out of habit, "Class, name."
"Third Year, Class Seven. Lin Ye."
Upon hearing the name, the teacher's movements noticeably paused.
He finally looked up, a flicker of surprise in his eyes. He sized Lin Ye up and down, as if trying to connect the name that had stunned the entire school today with the young face before him.
"You... You're Mr. Lin!"
The teacher's attitude did a complete one-eighty. He even stood up from his chair, forcing a slightly awkward smile onto his face.
"One moment. I'll get the first-place resource allocation for you right away."
He deftly operated the system, and soon, a metal tray was delivered from a conveyor belt behind him.
