They had an almost superstitious faith in Su Xi, a heartfelt belief that he could accomplish anything.

This season, young players like David Lee and Channing Frye had improved tremendously, and the offense flowed like mercury. But there was no denying it: without a strong presence in the paint, they were at a major disadvantage.
