Liang Qi spoke with righteous conviction, then let out a long sigh. "Gao Neng, you possess extraordinary talent. If you agree, I'm willing to take you on as my student. As long as you stop now, in five years, I will still give you my full support when you run for the next Speaker. I hope you can see the error of your ways and release the innocent Councillor Zhang..."
"The innocent Councillor Zhang? Are you talking about him?" A long black blade appeared in Gao Neng's hand, and he pressed it directly against Councillor Zhang's head.
"Kill me... Just kill me. But even if I die today, I have to say this: Gao Neng, your actions today will bring disaster upon humanity! You want to seize power? Dream on! The Human Alliance doesn't belong to you alone. Do you think being Tier Eight means you can ignore the Alliance's laws? Ptooey! Your naivety and impulsiveness will only lead humanity to its doom. You are a sinner against all humankind!!" Councillor Zhang gritted his teeth.
