The Demon Race's invasion was expected, but its swiftness caught nearly everyone by surprise.
Innumerumerable Magical Beasts of all ranks, from low to high, swarmed the Mesopotamian Plain, frantically assaulting the Guardians.

"They want to wear us down!"
A Sword Venerable roared, cleaving a Tier Five Fire Rhino in two at the waist with a single stroke of his sword. "Lord Sikong," he shouted, "we can't keep this up! If the Demon Race shows up when we're exhausted, we'll be at a serious disadvantage!"
