When Simon Adler heard that Mia Grant wanted to go to the company, he hesitated for a moment before readily agreeing. "That's not difficult."
"The question is, what can Miss Grant promise me in return?"
"I know you want to use me to trade for my brother with the old man, but that's no longer necessary. My brother will definitely show up tomorrow."
"You don't have to worry about me having ulterior motives."
"I'm just worried about him. I can't be sure if he'll still be under the old man's surveillance tomorrow. That's why I can only see him through you."
"Of course, if my brother doesn't show up tomorrow, you can use me to trade for him at any time."
Simon Adler sized her up and down for a long moment before speaking.
"I have one more question. Answer it, and I'll agree to your terms."
Mia Grant raised her eyes slightly, gazing quietly at the figure across from her, waiting for him to speak.
