"What about the Boss Lady? Should I go keep an eye on them now?" Zoe Sawyer asked.
Evan Keller, who was about to leave, stopped in his tracks. He thought for a moment and said, "You can go check out the situation first, but don't act rashly. Your safety is the top priority."
It was a good idea to scout things out in advance and get a clear picture of the situation inside. Then they could arrange their manpower accordingly.
But there was no rush. Evan Keller still wanted Zoe Sawyer to put her safety first.
"I know, don't worry," Zoe Sawyer said, patting her chest in assurance.
She wasn't an idiot. Although she had been training with Heath Hale and the others, if she were to face those ruthless criminals, her only real option would be to run for her life.
