Everyone in the office responded in unison, committing the matter to memory.
For the next few days, whenever anyone from the office left the police station, they subconsciously wanted to glance in the direction of the observer.
But they all remembered the order from a few days ago not to alert the target, so they had to suppress the urge to look and pretend they hadn't noticed anything.
The man hid behind the curtains, staring at the group of people leaving the police station entrance.
After making sure no one else was coming out, he took out his phone and made a call.
"Boss, I've been watching this place for a week. Do I have to keep going?" The man's tone was laced with dissatisfaction.
