Evan Keller shook his head. "If Julia Payne is the mother of those twins, then her brother must be dead."
Evan Keller then briefly recounted Number Three's confession to the Armed Police Captain.
Combining this with the statements from the others, the captain suddenly pieced everything together.
He finally understood what the twins had been trying to say.
"This is just awful. Now all we can do is wait for this new mother, Julia Payne, to wake up." The captain rubbed his head and sat down on a nearby stool.
Soon, Julia Payne awoke from her unconscious state. The first thing she saw was that she wasn't in a familiar room. Thinking back to what happened before she passed out, she understood the situation.
Sure enough, less than five minutes after she regained consciousness, the captain walked in with Evan Keller and a records officer.
