Jiang Zuo watched Su Qi with a deadpan expression, as she was still lost in thought.
Heaven only knew what Su Qi was going to say next.
'What if she just blurted out, "Did you get new flesh?"'
Jiang Zuo would have no choice but to kneel in surrender.
Jiang Zuo could face anything with calm composure. 'Nervous? Scared?'
'Such feelings were basically nonexistent for him.'
But right now, he felt a hint of anxiety.
It felt as though Su Qi would ask at any second, "Why did you get new flesh?"
He had been gravely injured, his body incomplete. It was only thanks to the Shaping Pill that his flesh had regrown so quickly. As a result, much of his body was brand-new.
'How was he supposed to explain that?'
Jiang Zuo sighed internally. 'I'm a dead man.'
However, Su Qi had no intention of asking. Instead, she felt his other side, then gave it a few taps.
Resigned, Jiang Zuo could only ask, "What are you doing?"
