Jiang Zuo sighed, exasperated. "You made out 'Tomb of Qin Qianning.' Was it really that hard to recognize the single character 'Tian'?"
"Easy for you to say," Su Qi grumbled. "If you didn't know the characters, you wouldn't be able to read them either, even if they were right in front of you."
She felt she was already doing great. After all, she could still recognize them. She had only studied ancient characters as a child, before she'd even started school.
It wasn't easy to happen to know just the right ones.
Jiang Zuo looked at Su Qi. "So now that you've figured it out, what do you want to do?"
Su Qi said, "Pay our respects, of course. They're our predecessors, after all."
Jiang Zuo was speechless. "…How about we just don't? Didn't you say Qin Qianning isn't dead yet? How would it look if we did that?"
