Faye Vaughn was being unreasonable, refusing to budge.
Liam Linden watched her for a moment, then suddenly said, "Sorry."
He unexpectedly wrapped an arm around her waist, lifted her up, and strode into the clinic.
Faye Vaughn hadn't expected his "sneak attack" and pounded on his shoulder. "Put me down! I'm not getting a shot!"
Liam Linden didn't let go.
He held her tightly and found the doctor, speaking smoothly. "Doctor, my girlfriend cut her hand on a knife. She's afraid of shots, so I have to hold her."
The doctor was a kind middle-aged woman. She beamed at the young couple with an expression that said, "I get it." "Alright, you can hold her."
Liam Linden wasn't embarrassed, but Faye Vaughn was.
'He's getting more and more shameless.'
"Put me down! I'll get the shot, okay?" Faye Vaughn struggled.
