The mere thought of having a daughter soon had Noah Grant grinning from ear to ear. Right then, his wife shot him a glance and whispered, "Your daughter is married. She has a Taoist Companion."
Those words were like a bucket of ice water dumped over his head, chilling him to the bone. His daughter didn't even exist yet, but some random bastard had already made off with her—lock, stock, and barrel!
What an absolute tragedy!
Noah took a step back. He pointed a trembling finger at Javier Sinclair, his face a picture of sheer disbelief. "You... you're saying you're my son-in-law... my future son-in-law?"
Javier gave a slight nod. "Yes, Father-in-law. I am your son-in-law. You might find it hard to believe, but it is the truth."
Noah gave him a long look and said, "I believe you."
