"Alright, men, drag these bodies away. Find a spot to burn them so we don't start a plague. If you find any who aren't dead, make sure to finish them off."
As he spoke, he pointed to a few men. "You lot, search the surrounding area. Don't let a single one get away. The rest of you, follow me. We're clearing this place out."
"Yes, General."

General Cheney, who had escorted them, led his men to raid the bandit's main hideout, confiscating all the grain and money. They were so thorough they even dug the copper coins out of mouse holes, truly leaving nothing behind.
