Chapter 52
Tori's POV
My eyes slowly opened, and I immediately realized he was no longer by my side. I had fallen asleep right after everything that happened, and the last thing I remembered clearly was him lying beside me.
Memories from earlier flashed into my head instantly.
My hand covered my face in shame as I remembered the way I had pleaded for him not to stop. I was supposed to stand by the words and promises I made to him. I was supposed to resist him no matter what happened.
Instead, I ended up proving him right.
He said he was going to make me beg, and I hated the fact that he actually succeeded.
Where the hell did he even go?
I climbed off the bed slowly before realizing it was already morning. Sunlight poured through the curtains while the cold air brushed softly against my skin.
How long did I even sleep?
Before I could think further, a loud knock echoed through the room.
I quickly clutched the duvet tightly against myself before anyone entered.
