Chapter 95 – The God of Killing, an Envoy of the God King and the Divine Rebuke
The golden spires of the Agila seemed to pierce the very fabric of the Sea God Island's sanctity, a silent declaration that the Old World was being replace by the New.
Inside the sovereign's sanctum, the atmosphere was no longer just heavy—it was becoming a physical burden. Lakan stood at the center of a swirling vortex of Chaos Qi, his bare chest glowing with the integrated radiance of the Phoenix Soul Bones he had begun to assimilate. Beside him, Bibi Dong was suspended in the air, her Abyssal Aegis armor retracted, her skin etched with glowing purple and silver veins as the Final Convergence reached its peak.
The dual cultivation session had entered its final, most dangerous phase. Lakan was no longer just a partner, he has become a bridge. He reached out, his hands pressing against Bibi Dong's Dantian and Sub-Dantian simultaneously.
"The world is too small for you, Dong'er," Lakan whispered, his silver eyes flashing with the power of the Nirvana Crystal Eye skull bone he had recently fused. "But that won't stop us from forging the anchor. Absorb the Chaos. Bridge the Slaughter to the Silence."
Bibi Dong let out a gasp that was half-pleasure, half-divine-agony. Using the Seven-Tone Lotus Flame, Lakan catalyzed the fusion. The Whale King's raw, crushing depth and the Rakshasa's law of destruction collided, fueled by Lakan's prismatic energy.
BOOM!
A silent shockwave erupted from the ship. For a moment, the entire Sea God Island felt a Spatial Hiccup. The laws of the Douluo Planet groaned. Bibi Dong's Rank 100(120+) God Core didn't just grow; it condensed, turning from a sphere of light into a crystalline singularity of Abyssal Void.
She had reached the Quality of a Rank 150 God-King. However, the Douluo Planet is a Lower Plane, it physically cannot support the weight or power to of a Rank 150 God-King without the world's laws cracking like glass. It can't even support a natural breakthrough of a level 99 To level 100.
So a God King will basically destroy this world just by existing. The world is holding on now as it is with the current power of Bibi Dong, perhaps it's thanks to the Dragon God who lived in this world once a long time ago, perhaps he strengthen the world whe he was staying so that it can atleast take the presence of a God. If Baby Dong isn't suppressing her own power, then she can easily destroy any low level Planet just by existing.
And hence, she has the Combat Strength of a God-King, but she is suppressed by the mortal world's ceiling.
The moment the fusion was complete, the Agila groaned under the weight. The ship's silver-gold hull sank three feet into the ocean, the water beneath it turning into steam from the sheer displacement of her presence. Bibi Dong landed on the deck, her feet cracking the reinforced spirit-alloy.
"I feel... everything," she murmured, her voice now carrying a resonance that could stop a heart. "But the air... it feels like paper. If I breathe too deeply, I feel the sky might tear."
Lakan stepped toward her, his own aura significantly boosted. The bleeding energy from her breakthrough had accelerated his fusion with the Solar Sovereign's Talon (Right Arm Bone). His right arm now glowed with a faint, golden-red pulse of purifying solar fire.
"You are a Calamity now, Dong'er," Lakan said, a proud, narcissistic smirk on his face. "A Half-Step God-King. While you sre greatly suppressed in this Lower because of its lack of Divine Power and this is still a lower dimension, but your combat strength... not even the Sea God's true body could handle you in a fair fight here. You are the Invisible under the God-King—they see a Rank 100, but they face a Rank 150."
The heavens did not take this disruption lightly. As if the universe were reacting to the presence of an unauthorized God-King, the sky over the harbor turned a bruised, violent red.
A rift opened, but it wasn't a portal. It was a Divine Projection. A towering figure clad in jagged, crimson armor and wielding a serrated executioner's blade materialized in the clouds. This was not Asura, but a Second-Class God of Killing from the Slaughter God's faction—sent as a Messenger of the Divine Realm Council.
"Mortal Lakan! Sinner Bibi Dong!" The God's voice was a grating clash of metal. "You have tampered with the laws of the Lower Plane! You have absorbed a Million-Year soul without the Council's blessing! Surrender the Whale King's core and submit to the Slaughter Realm's judgment, or this island shall be your tomb!"
Below, the Shrek Seven and Bo Saixi watched in terror. A God's projection was enough to make even a Limit Douluo feel like an ant.
Lakan, however, didn't even stop leaning against the ship's railing. He looked up, his silver sun-eyes narrowing. "A messenger? Asura didn't even have the balls to come himself? He sends a second-class 'intern' to threaten a Sovereign?"
"insolence!" the God of Killing roared, raising his blade. A wave of crimson killing intent descended, intended to crush the Agila.
Lakan didn't use his soul skills. He didn't need to. He tapped the deck with his foot, activating the Agila's Chaos Cannons, fueled directly by his Seven-Tone Lotus Flame Core and Bibi Dong's new Abyssal energy.
"Gem," Lakan called out to his ship's internal spirit. "Clean this trash. He's polluting the view."
The main batteries of the Agila swiveled with mechanical precision. The barrels glowed not with blue or gold, but with a terrifying, shimmering Chaos Gray.
VROOOM—BOOM!
A beam of pure Acausal Fire shot into the sky. It didn't just hit the projection, it un-simulated it. Because Lakan's energy was Chaos-based, it ignored the divine protections of the projection. The God of Killing's crimson blade shattered like glass, and the God himself let out a scream that echoed through the God Realm as the beam burned through his spiritual connection.
"Tell Asura," Lakan's voice boomed, amplified by the ship's hull. "The next time he wants to talk, he should send someone who doesn't die from a warning shot. The Spirit Empire doesn't take orders from ghosts."
The red clouds vanished, replaced by the terrified silence of the islanders.
The Course: Return to the Capital
Lakan turned back to his group. Shui Bing'er and Zhu Zhuqing stood ready, their own soul-bone fusions progressing rapidly thanks to the ship's heightened environment.
"We're done here," Lakan announced. "Tang San is currently gasping for air on the 333rd step. Bo Saixi is questioning her entire life. We've planted the seeds of doubt, now we let them grow."
"We're going back to Spirit City?" Bing'er asked, her Twelve-Winged Ice Phoenix wings shimmering.
"Yes," Lakan replied. "Bibi Dong has an Empire to lead. And I have more Phoenix bones to digest. Besides, I want to check on Qian Renxue. Her family has spent two generations losing to the Tang Clan's destiny. It's time she learned how a Sovereign breaks that chain. She needs to regain the honor the Seraphim lost."
Bibi Dong looked toward the horizon, her Abyssal aura settling into a cold, focused calm. "Renxue has the pride of the Angels, but she lacks the ruthlessness of the Void. I will teach her what it means to be a Goddess who don't need to wait for permission."
"Agila! Lift anchors!" Lakan commanded.
The silver dreadnought let out a resonant hum, its massive mechanical wings unfurling. With a burst of prismatic light, the ship ascended, leaving the Sea God Island behind in a matter of seconds. As they flew back toward the mainland, the ocean for miles around bowed one last time to the Empress of the Abyss.
Lakan stood at the prow, the Solar Sovereign's Talon on his arm pulsing with a warm, golden light. The Observation towards the succecor of the Sea God was over, but the war for the planet's soul is just beginning.
