Chapter 11 - The Turning Point of Fate

After I met with Silvara my head was still hurting like someone had placed a pile of stoneson it. But without any delay I stood up and decided to walk for the spell.

Her question wasn't normal. It wasn't about the journey… it was about me. About something I wasn't ready to face.

After answering her questions I saw a light coming from the hole of the wall.

As I pushed past the old, crumbling stones, the faint light inside the wall began to grow—like a distant star pulsing from the depths of darkness.

My head still throbbed, but with each step, a new clarity began to form—like a fog lifting from a dream. I reached the narrow crack in the stone, and as I traced its edges, a sudden shiver ran through me.

The silver shimmer inside grew brighter, pulsing like a heartbeat in the stillness. Suddenly, the air itself began to hum, vibrating with a power I had never known. And there, embedded in the old bricks, was the rune—the very spell I had been chasing since the visions first tormented me.

My pulse raced, every memory aligning—my dreams, my fears, all pointing to this moment. I could feel it—this was the key, the lost piece of power I needed.

Just then, a voice behind me echoed, breaking the silence. "Zarveth," Sylvara called, her voice soft but urgent.

I spun around, and there she stood, her face illuminated by the faint glow. Her eyes were wide with a mix of fear and wonder.

"You found it," she whispered, stepping closer. "But we must be careful. This spell—it's not just a key, it's a bond. If we misuse it, it could change everything."

I met her gaze, feeling the weight of her words, and together we approached. As our fingertips brushed the rune, the light flared, and we were drawn into a swirl of power, stepping into the unknown.

The spell was there but I can definitely fell something was off. The spell was giving some aura similar to the sword of void which was in my hand

Right then I try to remember the puzzle which was there. Then I realized what the puzzle meant. The thing that nothing can avoid is the void.

And my sword was made of void too. Which means both of them are the key. After I place the sword with it's overwhelming aura the chamber suddenly started shaking.

"Could it be an earthquake?" I muttered in my mind but as the earthquake stop a hidden box came up in front of me.

I put the sword in it and it said,

" Access granted welcome back my lord."

It said. I suddenly got a feeling it was an ai. It again asked me,

"How can I help you today?"

Then without any delay I asked that ai type voice," Can you show me the spell which is need to use to creat a medicine with the secrade herb?"

"Understood looking for the divine spell. Here it is."

After the voice finished something came underneath the ground. And it was flying in front of us that was the spell.

"With each breath, may the sickness fade; with each step, may strength return; and with this moment, may peace be restored."

After getting the spell we began to walk but it wasn't easy to get out of there. As the radiant glow of the spell faded, I found myself standing at the river's edge, the air thick with mist.

From the swirling water, a creature arose—its form a void, an inky darkness that coiled like smoke. Jagged edges flickered across its shadowy body, and its eyes shone like black stars, draining the light from around us.

I gripped the void sword, the blade forged from that same nothingness, cool in my hand and pulsing with untold power.

As the creature lunged, I stepped forward, the blade slicing through mist and darkness, but it reformed, relentless.

That's when Silvara, beside me, raised her hand, calling out a name from the old ways. Her voice, steady and clear, cut through the void.

The creature hesitated, faltering as if a barrier held it back. Seizing the chance, I channeled the sword's essence, a single strike that pierced the void.

It shattered, the darkness imploding, and as the mist lifted, we stood together, stronger, in the silence that followed.

A few moments later I again heared someone he was saying," You did well but it's not good enough but for now you're okay to go."

I wasn't able to see how he looks this time either but I was sure I heard that voice even before I was reborn.

But whatever for now I need to return to the palace with sylvara and made that medicine so we can revive the elder." Are you ready for what we are going to do?" Sylvara asked me.

"Yes I am ready." I replied.
