Jayjay's POV
"HAPPY BIRTHDAYYYYY BABYYY SISTAHH!"
The door flies open like it's been personally offended by silence.
I don't even flinch.
Percy Rey Mariano stands there with a grin so wide it should be illegal before sunrise, arms spread like he's blessing the room with his presence.
"You have exactly five seconds to leave," I say calmly, not looking up from my laptop.
"One," he replies instantly and launches himself onto my bed.
I sigh. "Percy."
"TWENTY-ONE," he corrects proudly. "I have wished you twenty-one times. I deserve a medal. Or at least breakfast."
"You woke me up."
"And yet," he leans closer, whispering dramatically, "your cold CEO heart is glowing."
It is.
Annoyingly.
I shove a pillow at his face. He laughs, loud and warm and so Percy that for a moment—just a moment—the weight on my chest eases.
"Happy birthday, Jay," he says softer now. "Big day."
I nod. "Very."
By 3:30 PM, the house shifts into precision mode.
No chaos. No emotions.
I step into the shower for exactly fifteen minutes—water hot enough to steady my breathing, not enough to make me think. After that, skincare. Cleanser. Serum. Moisturizer. Every movement deliberate.
Control is comfort.
Then the dress.
I slip into it slowly, letting the fabric fall where it belongs. Midnight-blue silk glides over my skin, cool and heavy, like it knows it's important. The off-shoulder neckline frames my collarbones perfectly—elegant, not exposed. The bodice fits me like it was designed for this night alone.
The slit reveals just enough leg to remind the world I move forward—never back.
I look at my reflection.
This isn't a girl turning twenty-one.
This is a woman stepping into myth.
Hair falls in soft waves, controlled but not rigid. Diamond earrings—simple. A matching necklace that rests just above my heart. No crown.
I don't need one.
By 4:30, I'm ready.
Reycee's eyes soften when she sees me. Jaspher's nod is firm, approving. Percy looks like he's deciding whether to cry or start a fan club.
"I'll come in after," I tell them at the entrance of the venue. "Give me a minute."
They hesitate—then trust me.
I step back outside alone.
The night air hums.
It's time.

Keifer's POV
I arrive at 5:15 PM.
Late enough to avoid small talk. Early enough to feel… wrong.
Something tightens in my chest the moment I step inside.
The hall is massive—marble floors, chandeliers dripping light like molten gold, walls lined with power disguised as elegance. CEOs. Royals. People who don't fear God—only leverage.
This isn't just a gala.
It's a summoning.
My fingers curl slightly at my side. I don't know why, but my instincts are screaming.
At 5:30, the lights dim.
Conversation fades.
And then—
A voice.
Smooth. Calm. Bold enough to silence the room without asking permission.
"Ladies and gentlemen…"
My heart stutters.
No.
That voice—
It can't be.
"…thank you for honoring this night."
Every memory crashes into me at once.
HVIS.Section E.Her laughter. Her anger. Her silence.
Jay.
My breath catches as the realization hits like a bullet.
I know that voice too well to mistake it.
It's her.
My Jay.
And whatever she has become—
The world is about to find out.
