Chapter 67 - Chapter 67: Evil God D, and Kurapika

In the universe where Kumoko resides, in the Underworld.

"That's enough. I want to go out and play for a bit. Work can wait for later."

Sitting at her desk, Evil God D stretched her arms out on the table, looking utterly dejected.

"No, Lord D. You're trying to sneak out again and leave all the work to me. Who exactly is the master of the Underworld, you or me?"

A woman with shoulder-length hair, dressed in a maid outfit, stood behind D, tapping her fingers on the table repeatedly to urge Evil God D to get back to work.

"Speaking of which, if you hadn't released your aura, I wouldn't have known where to find you."

"Also, did you have fun?"

"You really have too much free time. Not only did you play being a student, but you let yourself be bullied and even helped others reincarnate."

The maid truly didn't know how to complain about her superior.

"That was an accident, but that little spider named Shiraori is quite interesting!" Evil God D commented with a hint of amusement.

"Hmph, you dare to say that. Attracting powerful individuals from other universes—if our universe's coordinates are exposed, it could be very troublesome."

"I'm serious this time. I plan to establish a relationship with that God named Beryl."

"If possible, I even want to take the next step…"

Hearing this, the maid was silent for a moment, then sighed: "Sigh! As you wish. You are the highest God in this universe. Even if I wanted to object, if you truly want to do something, I can't stop you."

Just like pulling Evil God D back to work; if D truly wanted to run, she couldn't drag her back.

D leaned back in her chair, looking up at the maid standing beside her.

"In the battle with that other universe's administrator, I found that I was not her opponent. Most importantly, her life aura felt incredibly young to me."

"Didn't you say she was just a projection?"

"That's right." Evil God D sighed, her voice heavy, "But even so, even with the buff of the entire universe, if I wanted to defeat her, I would most likely be severely injured."

"A young universe administrator… a world with such a powerful being might be very dangerous." The maid mused thoughtfully.

"That's why I plan to join that Chat Group first to get a sense of her general personality before discussing further."

"Although I didn't talk to her much, based on experience, I can tell that she's not the kind of God who insists on the law of the jungle or makes unreasonable demands."

"Does she, like you, adhere to the principle of equivalent exchange?"

"Most likely. I can infer that from her helping that little spider."

Hearing these words, the maid spread her hands: "You don't need to tell me about these things. I am just your subordinate. However, I hope you consider carefully when making decisions."

"Alright." D nodded.

"Oh?" Evil God D raised an eyebrow.

"What is it?"

"I might have to go out for a bit. It's time to give that little spider her trial." D said.

"Will she come then? If so, please take me with you." The maid said earnestly.

No matter where D went, with such a dangerous powerful being, having a helper was better than none.

"No problem." D nodded, then picked up a stack of documents from the table and placed them in front of the maid. "Then I'll leave things here to you. No need to rush, I won't deduct your salary, my dear Miss Maid."

The maid's face darkened as she watched Evil God D open a spatial portal and leave.

As the spatial passage closed, the maid sighed: "I hope Lord D isn't making a mistake."

In the Chat Group.

After the discussion about Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Sasuke concluded, a new Group Member who had joined earlier, Kurapika from the Hunter x Hunter World, began to speak.

[Kurapika: "Group Leader, if I need to resurrect my clan members, what is the price?"]

Like Uchiha Sasuke, Kurapika's clan was also annihilated. The only difference was that their annihilation was done by outsiders, not by close relatives.

[World's First Princess: "That's impossible, unless two people from your world are in the group, only then can you use Sasuke's method."]

[Kurapika: "I see… Is there no other way?"]

[World's First Princess: "You can only collect Dragon Balls. You can resurrect one person at a time."]

Kurapika was a bit unwilling, but he thought that being able to resurrect even one clan member was better than none.

[World's First Princess: "@Kurapika, have you obtained your Hunter license yet?"]

Speaking of which, Beryl still didn't know how far the Hunter x Hunter World had developed, or whether Kurapika's situation was before or after the Hunter Exam.

[Kurapika: "Not yet. I plan to take the Hunter Exam this year. There's about half a year until the registration period."]

[World's First Princess: "So, you haven't learned Nen yet?"]

Beryl was also somewhat interested in Nen from the Hunter x Hunter World.

It seemed somewhat similar to Ki from the Dragon Ball World, but it is more versatile and can even be said to touch upon laws.

Of course, Beryl wasn't entirely clear on the specifics.

Kurapika was currently just an ordinary person and hadn't encountered Nen.

And Beryl's current state made it impossible for Kurapika to agree to her going to his world.

Putting aside everything else, with her current state—capable of occasionally tearing the God of Destruction Realm to pieces and even collapsing beds in her sleep—would Kurapika dare to let her come?

It's not just the dangerous Dark Continent; the entire planet might be reduced to scattered debris if she was not careful.

She wanted to help people and incidentally absorb some laws to comprehend, not to destroy.

[Kurapika: "What is Nen?"]

Kurapika shivered. He had previously learned that the price for Dragon Balls, to some extent, was related to the world's strength. While not entirely correlated, it was certain that his world was not an ordinary one.

After all, exchanging for Dragon Balls required 6000 points, which couldn't possibly be from an ordinary world.

[World's First Princess: "Nen is the body's aura, or life force. I'm not entirely clear on the specifics; I'm not from your world, the laws are different, and the manifestation will also differ."]

[World's First Princess: "In short, just know that it's something extraordinary."]

[Kurapika: "Can I… learn Nen?"]

Kurapika, who was currently working, spoke with a trembling voice.

If he learned Nen, perhaps he would have a chance to get revenge on the Phantom Troupe.

[World's First Princess: "In your world's Hunter Exam, after becoming a Hunter, Nen is a mandatory course. In other words, as long as you become a Hunter, the Hunter Association will send people to specifically teach you how to use Nen."]

Beryl also told Kurapika some common knowledge about Nen from the Hunter x Hunter World.

In the Hunter x Hunter World, Kurapika found a quiet spot and sat down, carefully analyzing what the Group Leader said. Although these were common knowledge for Hunters, it was like opening a new door for him.

[Kurapika: "@World's First Princess, I heard other Group Members say that you can know all Group Members' predetermined pasts and futures through the Chat Group. So, in the future… will I learn Nen, and what will my Nen be?"]

[World's First Princess: "You're very smart, Kurapika, you grasped the key point of what I said. Your Nen is Conjuration type, and after activating your Scarlet Eyes, it will become the rare Specialist type."]

[World's First Princess: "I won't tell you the specific details of your Nen, because I can't guarantee that you will follow the predetermined path for learning Nen in the future."]

Nen of the same attribute is developed differently by each person.

Who knew what kind of Nen Kurapika would develop after joining the group?

[Kurapika: "Please tell me, I will bear all consequences myself."]

Beryl was silent for a moment, then told Kurapika his original Nen.

Speaking of which, Beryl was very interested in Kurapika's Emperor Time after activating his Scarlet Eyes.

That ability seemed to involve laws, and logically, with Kurapika's current strength, he shouldn't be able to access it.

Is it because of the restrictions and vows?

Beryl thought for a moment and typed a message into the group.

[World's First Princess: "@Kurapika, if you want to learn Nen before the Hunter Exam, I can teach you, but the process might be a bit dangerous."]
