After she left, the two old fellows looked at Julian D'Aurelius and said, "Young Master Julian, even if Wren Tyson were to ask, it wouldn't help. If you're willing, we can bring them out for you to learn now; if not, then forget it."
The study room fell quiet once more.
The heavy wooden door had barely stopped shaking from Yana Tyson's departure. Outside, faint footsteps echoed down the corridor before gradually fading away.
Inside, only the scent of aged paper and sandalwood remained.
The two Tyson Family elders sat calmly, their expressions carrying the confidence of men who believed the situation was already under their control.
One of them took a sip of tea before speaking again.
"We've already shown enough sincerity."
The other nodded.
"Not everyone gets this opportunity."
His gaze swept over Julian D'Aurelius.
"If you regret it now, there's still time."
Julian merely smiled.
His golden eyes remained calm and unhurried.
