Storms Gather Before the Tomb
After a little silence, Rias spoke in a voice filled with concern.
"Senior Sister, do you think Teacher will encounter any danger inside?"
Her red eyes remained fixed on the giant entrance of the Martial Emperor Tomb. The golden ripples flowing across its surface reflected faintly in her eyes. The usual brightness on her face had gradually disappeared, replaced by uneasiness.
Ever since hearing Leon had entered before everyone else, her thoughts had been in chaos.
The more she thought about it, the more restless she became.
Selena stood beside her quietly.
The wind brushed through her silver-white hair as she looked at the distant entrance.
Her expression remained calm.
Too calm.
Yet those who knew her well could notice the tiny changes.
Her fingers had unconsciously tightened around her sword.
She shook her head gently.
"No, Teacher is so strong. He won't encounter any danger."
Her answer came immediately.
There was almost no hesitation.
