The Bug scanned the forest using its antenna, it quickly spotted the gang. Then, its mouth opened, it starting breathing fire, igniting the withered forest. The gang knew they have no match against it, all they can do is run.
"What's the matter? Aren't you all aggressive earlier? Face me! Cowards!" Anomaly's voice echoed.
The bug went on a rampage and started frenzy bombing. Its blade sliced through the flames, the plasma cannons nuked the forest and its eyes sent electric zaps that damaged the ground even more. Albur lead the team to run, The Bug just kept following them.
"You guys run! I'll catch up later!" Albur yelled.
"What are you trying to do?!" yelled Wilton.
"I'll buy us some time! Don't worry about me!"
Wilton hesitated, but Mysty still pulled him along. Albur looked at the bullet count on his rifle, he powered both of his rifle shots with power slot one.
"Disabling Shot!"
He fired two of them at the bug. The Bug is way to massive, 2 disabling shots can barely cover it with white aura. The shot shut down The Bug, stunning it temporarily, but it quickly reactivated and continued destroying the surrounding.
Albur reloaded his rifle and tried to fire 2 hyper blasts at it, still, it does nothing but tickles.
The Bug raised its cannons at Albur, charging up for an attack.
Albur fired another disabling shot which cancels the cannons shot. The Bug scoffed sarcastically, it raised another cannon at Albur and fired it. Albur dashed towards, the plasma orb hit the ground behind Albur, sending a huge shockwave that made Albur fly meters away. Albur hit the ground hard, he groaned in pain, unable to stand up.
The Bug's eye locked onto Albur.
"Target acquired..."
"Fire!" Anomaly commanded. But then, numerous bullets flew towards the Bug. The bullets hit Anomaly, hurting him.
"Wait, sweet heart!"
The Bug looked at Anomaly, Anomaly looked at the direction the bullets came from.
"There's something in that part of the woods. Nuke it!"
The bug turned to that direction, it activated all weapons, and fired it all at that part of the withered forest, the explosion devoured the only left withered trees. The Bug scanned that part to make sure no survivors. It then turned around, but to realize Albur was gone.
"Damn it! Its a bait!" The Bug exclaimed.
"They couldn't have gone far! Nuke this place!"
The Bug launched numerous missiles into the sky, then they turned around and dove. The missles exploded the whole forest, turning the whole forest into an ocean of flames.
The Bug scanned the whole place, no sign of life is detected.
"Its impossible they survived this...."
But then, Anomaly's intercom buzzed.
"This is headquarters, the humans are still detected alive, repeat, the humans are still detected alive. "
"Wha! Arggghhh!!!! Where are they?!" The Bug yelled in frustration and emitted an extremely loud honk.
Anomaly looked at the flame field.
"This is Admiral Anomaly speaking, I need patrol team #45 and patrol team #78 to search for the humans! They couldn't have gone far! Back up requested!"
"Copy that! Patrol team #45 and #78 approaching."

Albur opened his eyes, he felt wind blowing on his face. He looked closer, he noticed that Mysty is carrying him.
"Mysty?"
Mysty noticed Albur is awake.
"Oh thank goodness you're alright!"
"What happened?"
"I saved you from the giant monster! Next time don't disregard your own safety for our safety!"
Albur noticed Wilton and Covie was also running together with Mysty.
"Hey, I can run myself, you can put me down."
Mysty put Albur down, although Albur's knees still hurt, he still started running, suppressing the pain.
The gang stayed as stealthy as possible. Trying to evade the earth shaking Bug and the patrol teams. But for some reason, the patrol team still spotted them.
"Patrol team #45 reporting to the admiral! We found them!"
The glitch spaceships rushed to them. Mysty pulled out her pistols and fired at them, Albur fired his rifle at them as well. The Bug soon found their location, it breath fire at their spot, burning the unaffected part of the forest. Glitch ships still attacked the gang, Mysty fended them off by shooting charged shots at them.
The gang then started to run, the Bug went after them. It fired numerous missles but Albur blocked them by firing hyper blasts at them. The Bug begun to charge up another plasma cannon shot. Albur fired disabling shots at it, but the Bug fired smaller missles to block them.
"This time! It will truly end right here!"
The Bug fired a plasma orb at them. But coincidentally, a damaged glitch ship which was falling from the sky blocked that plasma orb. It caused a huge explosion that further pushed the gang forward. They all tripped, falling onto the ground. Albur's bag fell onto the ground, everything inside spilled out.
"AWWWW SNAP..."
Albur got back up and quickly put the things back into the bag. The Bug took the opportunity and fired a missile at them. Albur fired a disabling shot at it, causing it to fell onto the ground, unable to detonate. He helped the others up and prepared to run.
"Oh no you don't!"
The Bug zapped the ground in front of the gang with its eyes, making them unable to further escape.
"I have you~~~~ NOW!!!!!" Anomaly spoke in a singing tone.
The Bug bent down started charging up the cannons. Preparing to unleash a super powerful blast.
The gang is now hopeless of escaping. The light of the cannon shone on their face, everyone closed their eyes to accept their fate. But then, Mysty looked at the bag of potatoes on the floor which spilled out from Albur's bag. She decided to take a bold attempt. She took some raw potatoes from the bag, Albur was confused by it. She then took out her crowbar, she threw the potatoes into the air and smacked them all at the Bug's eyes like a baseball. The potatoes became mashed when hitting the Bug's eyes, blurring its sight.
"Wh- what the!? What are these!!??? I can't see!!!"
The Bug stopped charging the cannons, it stood up, and tired to wipe off the mashed potatoes on its eye, unfortunately its blades and cannons do a terrible job at wiping things off its eyes.
"I should've add wiper on my eyes!"
"Quick! Let's skedaddle while it is distracted!"
The gang shared a nod and continued running. Albur picked up that bag of potatoes before running.
Anomaly was angered, he drew out the weapons on his T shaped rocket, but instead of using them all, he pressed his palms against each other, then, the weapons merged into one single laser cannon, he attached it onto his right hand and activated it.
He aimed specifically for Mysty, then, he fired it. A cylinder shaped laser bullet sliced through the air and flew straight at her, unfortunately, the Bug kept moving, making his shot slightly missed. The shots still hit the ground beneath Mysty's feet, tripping her and made her fall on the ground.
Anomaly tried to shoot again, but the Bug kept moving and won't calm down.
Albur quickly tuend back and carried Mysty on his back before continue running.
"Whoah, calm down, sweet heart! I will help you out with those potatoes, just stop moving!" Anomaly tried to comfort the Bug.
The Bug didn't listen, it kept firing missles randomly towards every direction, blasting glitch ships and made them crash land. The whole field was a chaos, the gang was lucky they managed to perform a great escape.
