Chapter 305 - Chapter 305: A Noble God? Can't Be Hit or Insulted?

Karl looked at Abraxas, who was continuously bombarding him with attacks, and grimaced.

He finally understood just how frustrating it had been for his previous enemies to fight him.

Endless power, endless bombardment, without caring about anything else.

These Abstract Entities were absolutely shameless!

This had turned into a pure battle of attrition.

Karl gritted his teeth.

As an Abstract Entity, Abraxas's power could essentially be considered inexhaustible.

As long as this world wasn't destroyed, his power would never run out.

That was determined by the laws of the world.

It was also the most ridiculous advantage possessed by Abstract Entities.

It could be said that Abstract Entities were the true favored children of reality itself.

It wasn't difficult to imagine how frustrating fighting them could be.

It was completely different from fighting Celestials or ordinary gods.

For example, right now...

The black lightning before him seemed endless.

Even though Karl's power was extremely formidable, the golden shield in front of him was already beginning to lose its brilliance.

Both the tremendous energies radiating from it and the Origins embedded within it seemed to be gradually breaking down.

Karl could certainly create an unknown number of additional shields and continue this battle of attrition against Abraxas.

But if he did that, there was no telling when this battle would ever end.

This was actually normal for battles between beings at their level.

Their confrontations could easily last dozens of days, several years, or even tens of thousands of years.

Karl was simply an exception.

He wasn't a patient person.

He had no intention of wasting that much time trading attacks with this guy.

Even Karl couldn't win a battle of pure attrition against an Abstract Entity.

"The best defense is a good offense."

"I can't keep giving this guy the chance to attack."

"Fine. So what if he's an Abstract Entity?"

Karl sneered.

He reached forward with one hand.

The space before him immediately distorted.

A transparent blade appeared in his grasp.

It was fashioned from a fragment of a universe extracted from the void.

A weapon formed from some of the most primordial space in existence.

It possessed an incomparably sharp property capable of severing almost anything.

It had been created from a damaged universe, condensed and refined through countless iterations.

This blade could truly be considered capable of cutting through virtually anything!

Karl didn't hesitate.

The transparent blade in his hand slashed directly toward Abraxas.

There were no noticeable fluctuations.

No information could be sensed from it either.

Only a faint sound passed through space.

By then, the transparent blade had already reached Abraxas.

Even the white robe covering his body seemed to sense the danger and began billowing violently.

Abraxas reacted quickly.

The destructive lightning converged before him, forming a wall of lightning.

However...

The constantly flashing bolts of destruction couldn't stop the transparent, razor-sharp blade.

The blade contained a fragment of a damaged universe.

It represented an extraordinarily condensed form of the spatial laws of an entire universe.

It could cut through virtually anything in this world!

Silently, the lightning filled with terrifying destructive power was sliced apart.

The impossibly sharp blade struck Abraxas directly.

His flowing robe and glaring white hair were instantly shredded like scraps of cloth.

The Spatial Blade swept past him.

A bloody wound immediately appeared across Abraxas's body.

Brilliant multicolored blood resembling a cosmic starfield sprayed outward.

And that was only because Abraxas had dodged in time.

Otherwise, Karl might have severed one of his arms outright.

Even so, Abraxas's face was filled with disbelief, while fury burned in his eyes.

"You!"

"You damned insect! You actually injured me?"

Abraxas spoke in disbelief.

"What?"

"Are you somehow too noble to be injured?"

A mocking expression appeared on Karl's face.

Abraxas became even more furious.

"You're nothing but an ant!"

"Your life has no value whatsoever!"

"Why can't you simply accept your death?"

"Why do you insist on resisting?"

"Did that last attack damage your brain?"

"Otherwise, why are you spouting nonsense?"

"If I don't resist, what am I supposed to do? Stand here and let you kill me?"

Karl mocked him.

The gods of the Marvel Universe seemed to have spent so long looking down on everyone else that many of them had developed rather strange ways of thinking.

Karl could hardly believe Abraxas had actually said something like that.

Perhaps being sealed away for so many years really had damaged his mind.

Karl couldn't be bothered to continue arguing with him.

The Spatial Blade in his hand once again slashed toward Abraxas from an unpredictable angle.

Space possessed neither physical substance nor weight.

Naturally, the blade moved with extraordinary fluidity.

The transparent blade continuously flickered through space.

It was impossible to determine which direction it would attack from next.

Abraxas dodged several times.

Yet the blade in Karl's hand pursued him relentlessly, refusing to give him any room to escape.

A single mistake was enough.

Another wound was sliced open across his body.

Brilliant blood once again poured from him.

Abraxas's eyes burned with overwhelming rage.

If a glare alone could kill, Karl would already have been riddled with countless wounds.

Karl didn't care.

A battle was ultimately a contest of reactions and ability.

If Abraxas couldn't keep up with him, then he had no one else to blame for Karl attacking without mercy.

Karl took a deep breath.

With another thought, the Spatial Blade left his hand and shot forward.

Like a throwing knife, it flew directly toward Abraxas under Karl's mental control.

It fluttered through space almost like a butterfly.

Beautiful...

And deadly.

In the blink of an eye, it left another deep wound across Abraxas's body.

However, injuries like these meant almost nothing to Abraxas.

They merely made him even angrier.

To him, Karl's actions were only intensifying his fury.

"Young man, you're playing with fire."

Abraxas spoke coldly.

"Heh."

"I'm merely proving something."

Karl replied.

"What?"

Abraxas asked instinctively.

"You Abstract Entities can be killed too."

A sharp light flashed through Karl's eyes.

According to the Vishanti, Abraxas couldn't be killed.

Karl had never personally tested that claim before.

But judging from what he was seeing now...

Perhaps Abraxas really couldn't be permanently killed.

However, the body he currently inhabited was clearly neither invulnerable nor indestructible.

It was still a physical body formed from matter.

And matter could be destroyed!

As long as Karl could injure it...

He could destroy this body.

As for what would happen after Abraxas's current body was destroyed...

That wasn't something Karl needed to worry about.

He could leave the aftermath to the Five Great Gods.

What Karl hadn't expected was that after hearing him say this, Abraxas instead let out a cold laugh.

"Ignorant mortal. You're far too arrogant."

"Your arrogance will be what kills you."

"Is that so?"

"Then try it."

Karl remained completely confident.
