Scarlet Witch was undeniably powerful.
Karl knew that maintaining a good relationship with her would undoubtedly benefit him in the future.
But there was one thing he absolutely refused to do: take responsibility for a student when he knew he wasn't suited to teaching them.
And here in the Main Universe, there was no one who could help him teach on his behalf.
Naturally, he wasn't going to accept Scarlet Witch as his student.
After chatting with Scarlet Witch for quite a while, Karl returned directly to Earth.
With a flash, he arrived at Kamar-Taj.
Looking at the familiar surroundings, Karl couldn't help but sigh.
Every stone and every tile around him seemed familiar.
For a moment, it almost felt as though he were still in his own universe.
But in reality—
He had no idea how unimaginably far this place was from his own universe.
While Karl was lost in a moment of nostalgia, Strange opened a Portal and walked in from outside.
When he saw Karl standing there, he was visibly startled.
"Karl, you're back? Have those guys already been dealt with?"
Strange asked.
"They're taken care of."
"Earth shouldn't have any problems for the time being."
Karl nodded.
"Thank you for everything."
Strange's expression became solemn.
He was genuinely grateful.
Karl wasn't even from the Main Universe.
Strictly speaking, everything that happened here had absolutely nothing to do with him.
Yet he had stepped forward without hesitation and protected the entire Earth.
They really had judged him far too harshly before.
"You don't need to be so serious. It wasn't a big deal."
Karl waved his hand.
Naturally, he had his own reasons for stepping forward.
The Dark Celestials weren't weak.
He had wanted to see whether he could learn something from them.
What puzzled him was that his God-Tier Talent hadn't triggered anything at all.
Karl couldn't help wondering whether that was because the Dark Celestials were artificial creations—
Or because of the First Firmament.
Naturally, Strange had no idea what Karl was thinking.
"Karl, now that everything has been dealt with, what are you planning to do next?"
"Are you preparing to return to your own universe?"
"You've been away from it for quite some time already, haven't you?"
Strange asked tentatively.
"It's fine. It hasn't actually been that long."
"Time in the Main Universe doesn't flow the same way as it does in my universe."
"Even if I spend a year or so here, it won't amount to much back there."
"Besides, I haven't had the chance to properly explore the Main Universe yet."
Karl smiled.
This was the Main Universe.
Whether it came to powerful beings or extraordinary opportunities, everything here was among the best the Multiverse had to offer.
It was completely different from his own universe.
Naturally, Karl intended to remain here and explore for a while longer to see whether he could encounter any opportunities suitable for him.
Hearing this, Strange fell into thought.
"In that case, would you be interested in staying at Kamar-Taj?"
"Perhaps you could teach some of Kamar-Taj's Sorcerers."
Strange asked eagerly.
Karl's strength was obvious to anyone who saw him.
Even Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme, was no match for him.
If Karl stayed behind and taught Kamar-Taj's Sorcerers for a while...
Wouldn't Kamar-Taj's overall strength skyrocket?
The more Strange thought about it, the more convinced he became that keeping Karl here was an excellent idea.
Even if Karl wanted to leave, Strange was beginning to feel reluctant to let him go.
And it wasn't only the ordinary Sorcerers who could benefit.
Perhaps even Strange himself could improve under Karl's guidance.
Hearing this, Karl smiled freely.
"Of course."
"But it'll have to wait for a while."
Karl replied.
"Why?"
"Is there something you need to take care of? If there is, I can help."
Strange immediately offered.
Karl quickly waved his hand.
"No, it's nothing like that. I simply need to make some preparations first."
"You have to remember that I come from another Parallel Universe."
"The rules in my universe aren't identical to those of the Main Universe."
"In many areas, there are subtle differences between the underlying rules."
Karl smiled as he explained.
He didn't mind helping Strange train a few students.
Kamar-Taj was still Kamar-Taj, regardless of the universe.
Establishing goodwill here would benefit him in the future as well.
He certainly wouldn't lose anything from it.
He had already learned just about everything he could from the Sorcerers of his own world.
Getting another chance to learn from the Sorcerers of the Main Universe was an opportunity he had no reason to refuse.
Strange's expression immediately became solemn with respect.
"You're right. Something like that really is extremely important."
"Magic is incredibly precise."
"If the underlying rules are different, things could become extremely dangerous."
Strange spoke seriously.
His strength wasn't weak either.
Naturally, he understood exactly how much differences in the laws of a world could affect magic.
It was like a mathematical calculation.
A single incorrect number could make the final result completely different.
Magic worked the same way.
If a spell simply failed to activate, that wasn't so bad.
But if the spell backfired...
That would be an entirely different matter.
"How about this, Karl? You can use the Great Library."
"The books there should be more than enough to help you understand this world."
"And I can proudly tell you that you won't find a richer magical library anywhere else in the entire Multiverse."
Strange declared proudly.
"I was thinking the same thing."
"Thank you."
Karl replied politely.
In truth, he had wanted to visit Kamar-Taj's library for a long time.
However—
Without Strange's permission, it wasn't somewhere he could simply enter and leave as he pleased.
Taking something without permission was stealing.
Since Karl had perfectly legitimate ways to achieve his goal, there was no reason for him to resort to such disgraceful methods.
Nor would he ever treat other people's possessions as something he was naturally entitled to use.
"Then there's no point wasting any more time."
"I assume you already know where Kamar-Taj's library is. You can read anything you want inside."
Strange said seriously.
"Then I'll accept your offer. Thank you."
Karl didn't refuse.
After politely thanking Strange, he turned around and headed toward the library.
Kamar-Taj's library contained an enormous collection of magical texts.
They were among the most precious treasures accumulated by the Ancient One over centuries.
Karl was extremely excited about them.
He had already read every magical text in his own world.
But he had never read the texts preserved in the Main Universe.
The difference between the two collections was enormous.
For example—
In the Main Universe, many great sorcerers from history had never died.
Naturally, they had left behind enormous amounts of precious knowledge.
There was the legendary alchemist Nicolas Flamel, Grimm, one of the most powerful sorcerers, and many others.
In Karl's universe, those sorcerers had long since disappeared.
But in the Main Universe—
They were genuinely still alive.
Add to that the countless Mutants and other powerful beings who had existed here, and the amount of knowledge accumulated over the years was staggering.
This was an incomparably precious treasure trove!
The moment Karl entered the library, he felt as though he had been given unrestricted access to an endless vault of magical knowledge.
For Karl, there were few things that could have made him happier.
He wandered through the library for a while.
Then he casually picked up one of the books resting on top of a nearby stack.
Immediately, he began reading with complete concentration.
