Chapter 79 - Chapter 79 – The Last Sin

The cave trembled like it was rejecting what had just happened.

Spikes erupted from the stone walls one by one, each one reacting to Draco Jay's unstable evolution—like the dungeon itself was trying to contain something it no longer understood.

Draco Jay moved first.

Not as a beast.

Not as a mindless shapeshifter.

But as something far more terrifying—

limitless intent.

A single strike sent Jhonathan flying through the cavern's light bridges.

Stone shattered behind him in cascading waves.

Draco Jay didn't stop.

His body transformed instantly—steel covering every inch of him like a living armor shell.

Then mud.

Then steel again.

Then something between both.

Each attack reset his form, but never weakened his momentum.

Jhonathan stood again.

Slowly.

Phase 2 activated.

His presence changed the air itself.

A barrier formed instinctively around him—silent, invisible, absolute.

Draco Jay struck again.

Blocked.

He struck harder.

Still blocked.

Then Jhonathan moved.

He didn't punch.

He didn't slash.

He pressed forward through space.

Draco Jay was forced down.

Pinned.

Jhonathan grabbed his horn.

And crushed it.

The cave went silent.

Then—

memories flooded outward.

A fractured life unfolded:

A "Prince of Putin."

A boy raised under manipulation, where cruelty was called order.

A Count at fifteen, force-fed the Star of Envy.

A label stamped onto him:

Freak of the Counts.

Isolation.

Mockery.

War.

Then—

the group.

Jessa.

Ricardo.

Count Shiba.

Chronus.

Shane.

Aaron.

Outcasts.

Monsters.

Friends.

They rebelled.

Not for power.

But for existence.

And then—

they broke apart.

Silence followed that memory.

Jhonathan's expression changed.

For the first time in a long while—

not anger.

Not strength.

But guilt.

"…I was trying to kill someone who was just… surviving."

His grip loosened.

He stepped back.

And turned away.

Draco Jay slowly rose.

But instead of rage—

there was something else.

Peace.

A star formed in his hand.

"…Take this."

He walked forward.

"…You were the only one who didn't try to kill me."

Jhonathan hesitated.

Then accepted it.

Draco Jay smiled faintly.

"…I want to be better."

And for the first time—

he followed instead of chased.

Outside the cave, the world felt different.

Less hostile.

But not safe.

Grimmy stood in the distance.

Watching.

Silent.

Observing.

"…So that's five sins resolved."

A pause.

Her eyes narrowed slightly toward the horizon.

"…Only one remains."

She whispered it quietly.

"Lust."

Far away, something responded.

Not with words.

But with awareness.

And the First Saga quietly closed its eyes.
