Chapter 67 - Chapter 67 – Gobura in Flames

Gobura Town burned under rebellion.

Not a quiet uprising—

a full collapse of order.

Civilians clashed with the Ten Godly Ninjas, and the sky itself flickered red from collapsing barrier seals. Fire spread through rooftops like living veins.

Jhonathan and his party moved through the chaos.

Pulling civilians out.

Blocking collapsing structures.

Dragging people out of burning streets before they could be swallowed by the firestorm.

Then—

silence cut through the noise.

A soundless strike.

Apollo, the Goblin Ninja of Sound, appeared behind Grimmy.

No warning.

No noise.

Just impact.

A perfect neck strike designed to kill without even announcing death.

But Grimmy didn't fall.

She tilted her head slightly.

"…I felt that."

Apollo's eyes widened.

That wasn't supposed to be possible.

Grimmy flicked her finger.

And the space around Apollo folded.

Invisible restraints snapped into place, binding him instantly.

No struggle. No escape.

Just containment.

Then she vanished.

Leaving only a faint distortion in the air.

Elsewhere—

Jhonathan grabbed Leeroy by the shoulders.

"WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!"

Shurikens slammed into his back.

Knives followed.

One after another.

But he didn't fall.

Leeroy stared at him in shock.

"…Why are you still standing?!"

Jhonathan tightened his grip on his blade.

And swung once.

A wave of force exploded outward.

Assassins were launched through burning debris, disarmed and scattered across collapsing streets.

"…Why do you risk your life to save others?" Leeroy shouted.

Jhonathan didn't hesitate.

"Because life is important."

"And I don't want to watch people waste it when they're in danger."

Above them—

Grimmy stood on the back of one of the Ninth Godly Goblin Ninjas.

She whistled softly.

A broken melody.

A song that didn't match the burning world.

"Die With a Smile…"

Her opponent attacked.

Every strike passed through her like smoke.

But every counter-hit she delivered landed with crushing weight.

Fast.

Clean.

Unavoidable.

The battlefield around her collapsed piece by piece.

Meanwhile—

Jhonathan suddenly staggered.

A deeper wound appeared.

Not from the earlier attacks.

Something new.

Something heavier.

His breathing slowed.

"…Tch…"

He gripped his blade tighter.

But his knees almost gave way.

From deeper within Gobura Town—

something stronger had joined the war.
